1. All participants should be at least 8 years of age.
2. Intermediate skiing skills are necessary (parallel turns on most slopes).
3. Participants must be able to ride a chair lift without assistance.
4. Use of approved ski helmet and medical alert label are required.
5. USSA and PARA Membership is required for ALL ski and snowboard racers for insurance purposes.

   2. USSA Membership number is required prior to any training activity with BKSSC.
   3. PARA membership will now be completed as part of the USSA membership. When you renew your USSA membership on line make you choose Pennsylvania and your state and Blue Knob as your Club. USSA will collect and distribute the PARA dues. Filing deadline to avoid late fee is October 15th for USSA.

Class Descriptions for Ski Racers: (Racers must be age 8 as of January 1, 2010)
Class I..........17-19 yrs.
Class II.........15-16 yrs.
Class III..........13-14 yrs.
Class IV..........11-12 yrs.
Class V.......8, 9 & 10 yrs.
Class VI.....7 yrs. (*) (* not eligible for Derby Race)
