If you’re age 8 or older and love learning, taking on challenges and have a love of winter sports and adventure, the Blue Knob Ski Race Team may be for you. With a sense of adventure, emphasizing fun, you will learn about the winter sport of ski racing, improve your skiing skills and develop a lifelong passion for the adventure that this winter sport offers.

BKSRT is a non-profit parent run organization that offers a variety of programs to satisfy the various levels and ages of skiing skill and racing interest. We provide training opportunities on the weekends from the beginning of the ski season until the snow is gone. This also includes a Christmas training camp where training is available the week between Christmas and New Years Day.

Our athletes can choose to train on the mountain all winter with our coaches and not travel to races. Here the focus is improving the skiing fundamentals and possible racing ability, as well as, their confidence. Other athletes in our program enjoy the challenge of training and travelling to other ski resort locations throughout Pennsylvania and competing in USSA sanctioned alpine races. Here advanced skiing and racing skills are covered as training intensity increases. Athletes will learn how to set goals, train, and apply newly acquired skills to competition settings. Both programs are designed to build confidence with an emphasis on fun while accepting the challenges of ski racing.
